In Rajasthan’s Luharia village, Bhilwara, a schoolboy’s alleged act of mixing urine in a girl’s water bottle from a different community led to massive protests. The incident, which occurred on a Friday, involved a female student of Government Senior Higher Secondary School mistakenly drinking the contaminated water. To her dismay, she also discovered a love letter with the words “love you” written in her bag, as reported by a police official to India Today.
The situation escalated when the school principal purportedly did not take any action on the girl’s complaint, causing agitation among locals. People from the girl’s community expressed their anger and protested against the incident. When the school reopened on Monday, angry individuals complained to the Luharia police station, prompting the school principal to lock the school.

The protests turned violent, leading the police to resort to a lathi charge to control the situation in Luharia village. Visuals of the unrest emerged and became viral on social media. Furthermore, locals entered the accused boy’s locality and pelted stones at his house. As of the latest update, the accused had not filed any complaint in connection with the incident.
According to ASP Ghanashyam Sharma’s statement to India cited by news reports, the student involved in the incident had not filed a formal complaint with the police. Nevertheless, if a complaint is lodged against the individuals involved in the stone-pelting at the accused’s locality, appropriate action will be taken by the police.
