BJP MP Manoj Tiwari posted a lively video on social media showing Prime Minister Narendra Modi waving his signature scarf, or gamcha, as he entered the BJP headquarters in Delhi.
In the video, party workers follow Prime Minister Modi’s gesture, energetically waving their scarves in unison, set to the background music, “Aaji hum Bihari hain ji, thore sanskari hain ji.”
Tiwari captioned the post, “Bihar me NDA ki adbhut jeet.. #Narendramodi ji ne lahraya gamcha #delhi #bjp,” celebrating both the gesture and the NDA’s historic electoral success. The video quickly went viral, reflecting the jubilant mood among party cadres.
As PM Modi arrived at the BJP headquarters, he was adorned with a makhana garland and enthusiastically greeted by the chanting of ‘Modi-Modi’ slogans.
From the entrance corridor to the main stage, he waved his gamcha, prompting every attending worker to do the same. The scene captured the high spirits and collective energy following the party’s triumph in Bihar.
The celebration comes on the heels of the NDA’s commanding win in the Bihar Assembly elections.
The alliance secured over 202 seats, establishing a record, with the BJP alone winning 89 seats, another milestone for the party.
Analysts note that the decisive mandate reflects public endorsement of development-focused governance, with voters rejecting confusion-driven politics.
The outcome ensures that the NDA government will continue to govern Bihar, consolidating its presence in the state.
