The countdown has begun for the world’s largest religious gathering, the Mahakumbh, which will take place in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh, from January 13 to February 25, 2025. Organizers are working tirelessly to ensure smooth preparations for the event, which will see millions of devotees from across the globe participate in the holy dip at the confluence of the Ganga, Yamuna, and Saraswati rivers.
This grand religious event, held once every 12 years, attracts sages, saints, Naga sadhus, and devotees from all over. With more than 45 crore people expected to attend, this year’s Mahakumbh promises to be the biggest yet. The banks of the Sangam in Prayagraj will be the epicenter of spiritual and cultural activities during the event.
In the lead-up to the event, Bharat Express News Network will host a mega conclave titled “Mahakumbh: Mahamanthan on Mahatmya” on Friday, January 10, 2025, in Prayagraj. The conclave will be broadcast live on Bharat Express’ news channel, website, YouTube, and social media platforms starting from 11 am.
The event will feature prominent dignitaries, including Uttar Pradesh’s Deputy Chief Ministers, Brajesh Pathak and Keshav Prasad Maurya. Bharat Express News Network’s Chairman, Managing Director, and Editor-in-Chief, Upendra Rai, will also be present. Alongside them, several key ministers, saints, and senior administrative officers will attend.
