The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) will organise a three-day training camp in Pachmarhi from 14 to 16 June for Madhya Pradesh’s elected representatives. The camp aims to sharpen political strategy and reinforce ideological commitment. It will bring together 201 BJP MPs, MLAs, and state Cabinet ministers.
Union Home Minister Amit Shah will inaugurate the event at 3 p.m. on 14 June. Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh will deliver the valedictory address on 16 June. The sessions will take place under a specially constructed dome at the Glen View Hotel. Chief Minister Mohan Yadav and state BJP President V.D. Sharma will attend all sessions.
Party Vision and Leadership Engagement
The camp will feature sessions on BJP’s journey from the Jan Sangh era to its current prominence. Amit Shah will open with a talk on this evolution. Modules will cover party discipline, public communication, digital outreach, and constituency management. V.D. Sharma said these topics are vital for preparing lawmakers for future governance.
Senior leaders including B.L. Santhosh, Shiv Prakash, C.R. Patil, Shivraj Singh Chouhan, Savitri Thakur, L. Murugan, and Vinod Tawde will guide discussions. CM Yadav will also present “Developed MP 2047: Opportunities and Challenges”, outlining his long-term vision.
Grassroots Initiatives and Women-Centric Policies
A unique segment, Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam, will see all attendees plant a tree to promote environmental responsibility. An exhibition on BJP’s organisational growth and PM Modi’s 11 years in office will also be showcased.
This camp follows CM Yadav’s recent expansion of the Ladli Behna Yojana. The state now offers ₹5,000 monthly wage incentives to women in the textile and garment sectors. This addition complements the existing ₹1,250 support and aligns with the Centre’s 2024 textile policy.
As BJP prepares for future political and administrative challenges, the Pachmarhi camp is seen as a strategic reset. It will reinforce internal discipline, sharpen messaging, and strengthen the party’s ideological foundation.
