Abbas Haider grieves The Loss Of Mother and Wife
Lucknow Building Collapse: The Alaya Apartment building in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh’s capital, collapsed unexpectedly on Tuesday, causing panic. As a result of the building’s collapse, many persons were buried beneath the rubble. Efforts to save people have been ongoing for the past 16 hours in the rescue operation.
Begum Haider, the mother of SP’s (Samajwadi Party) national spokesperson Abbas Haider, died in the accident, as did his wife Uzma Haider. Abbas Haider has raised severe complaints against the administration in connection with this occurrence. He said that the rescue operation was not properly executed and that just food was provided.
SP leader accuses the administration
The SP leader said that the officers kept on posing for photographs and tweets just to loot applause. He alleged that the building that collapsed was built with the collaboration of these officers. Abbas Haider said that after the accident, the police was also preventing them from taking the body.

On the other hand, SP chief Akhilesh Yadav expressed grief over the death of Abbas Haider’s mother and wife. He tweeted, “Extremely saddened by the demise of Begum Haider and wife Uzma Abbas, mother of Samajwadi Party spokesperson Abbas Haider. May God give peace to the departed souls.

A committee is constituted to investigate the Lucknow Building Collapse
Meanwhile, a three-member committee has been formed on the instructions of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath in the matter of building collapse. Lucknow Commissioner Roshan Jacob, Joint Police Commissioner Lucknow Piyush Mordia and Chief Engineer PWD Lucknow have been included in this committee. This committee will give a report after identifying the responsible people in a week.
The relief and rescue work continued even after 16 hours of the accident. Efforts are being made to remove the debris and rescue the people buried in it. NDRF teams are engaged in breaking pieces of debris with drill machines, so that the people buried in the debris can be safely evacuated as soon as possible.
According to the information, 14 people have been rescued so far. About 5 people are still feared trapped in the basement of the building. Continuous efforts are being made to give him oxygen. He has also been talked to on the phone. Many people were present in the apartment at the time of the accident. More than two dozen people were buried under the debris.
The people injured in the accident have been admitted to the hospital, where their condition is said to be out of danger. Repair and pipeline work was going on in the apartment for a few days. It is not yet clear how the apartment suddenly collapsed. This building was constructed by Yazdan Builders.
