Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman will take center stage with the introduction of a pivotal bill aimed at authorizing payments and appropriations from the Consolidated Fund of Jammu and Kashmir for the fiscal year 2024-25.

This bill is crucial for ensuring the financial allocations required to support the administrative and developmental services in the region.

In addition, Home Minister Amit Shah is likely to present a motion to initiate the election process for the Committee on Official Language.

This move is part of a broader effort to strengthen and streamline the governance of official language matters.

Commerce Minister Piyush Goyal will also be active, presenting motions to elect two members each to several key boards:

  • The Coffee Board, Spices Board, Rubber Board, Tea Board
  • Marine Products Export Development Authority
