Lok Sabha Election 2024: PM Modi Holds Election Rally in Aligarh, Praises Yogi Govt, Slams Opposition

PM Modi lauded the achievements of the Yogi government while criticizing the opposition while conducting a rally in Aligarh.

As part of his nationwide election campaign for the Lok Sabha elections, Prime Minister Modi arrived in Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh, known as Talanagari, today (April 22) to rally support for BJP candidates. Addressing a public gathering, PM Modi lauded the achievements of the Yogi government while criticizing the opposition.

PM Modi emphasized that Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath should not be solely associated with bulldozers. He highlighted the significant industrial development that Uttar Pradesh has witnessed under Yogi’s leadership, surpassing the progress made since independence.

In his speech, PM Modi targeted the Congress party, alleging its involvement in scams related to defence purchases throughout India’s history. He asserted that Congress could not establish a defence corridor in Uttar Pradesh due to its history of corruption, contrasting it with the BJP’s efforts to make Uttar Pradesh a key hub of self-reliant India and a self-reliant army.

PM Modi accused the Congress and its allies of plundering the country’s wealth, stating that they view it as their birthright. He criticized their failure to redistribute their immense wealth to benefit the nation’s poor and highlighted their desire to seize the hard-earned money and property of the people. PM Modi likened this mindset to Maoist and communist ideologies, warning against its implementation in India.
