Efforts by Dr. Rajeshwar Singh, BJP MLA from Sarojininagar in Lucknow, have led to significant progress in education. The Yogi government has approved the allotment of land for the establishment of the English and Foreign Languages University. Dr Singh announced this development on social media, emphasizing its importance for the region.

He stated, “Another important achievement for Sarojininagar, which is becoming the Education Hub of modern Lucknow.” The approval includes 2.3239 hectares of land in Gram Sabha Chakauli. Dr. Singh initially wrote to Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on March 10, 2023, proposing this land allotment.

Cabinet Approves Proposal for Education Hub In Lucknow

On July 2, 2024, Dr. Singh followed up with another letter requesting the Council of Ministers’ approval for the land allotment. Today, the State Cabinet confirmed the proposal, paving the way for the university’s establishment.

The creation of the English and Foreign Languages University in Gram Sabha Chakauli aims to provide quality education for the youth of Sarojininagar, Lucknow, and the entire state. This initiative reflects the commitment to enhancing educational opportunities in the region.
