K’taka Horror; Minor Throws Infant Into Well As Uncle Rejects Love Proposal

In an horrific incident Karnataka’s Yadgir district, a minor threw an infant into well as infant’s uncle had rejected her love proposal, an official confirmed the information.

Meenakshi, the dead infant, was the daughter of Yadgir city residents Nagesh and Chittemma, who lived in Ambedkar Layout. Police claim that the accused young girl was in love with Yallappa, the baby’s paternal uncle, and lived in a neighboring home.

Yallappa rejected the accused when she confided in him about her feelings. However, the accused female persisted in making him a proposal. On June 6, the little girl, furious by Yallappa’s rejection, snatched the baby girl while no one else was present and hurled her down the well.

Afterwards, when the family started looking for the child, the accused started to have doubts about Yallappa. She went so far as to hunt for the baby with the family members and advised them to investigate the well.

Yadgir City police, who took up the investigation, cracked the case and detained the minor girl after questioning her. The accused confessed to committing the crime because she was in love with the baby’s uncle and he had rejected her.
