Officials said on Monday that four coaches of the Ajmer-Sealdah Express derailed while being transported to the yard for maintenance at Ajmer Junction. According to Captain Shashi Kiran, Chief Public Relations Officer, no injuries were reported in the derailment incident.
Shashi Kiran added that trains are still traveling through the second line and there is no disruption to train traffic. They also stated that attempts are being made to get coaches back on track.

Previously, in January of this year, the Bandra Terminus-Jodhpur Suryanagari Express (12480) derailed in the Jodhpur Division of the North Western Railway (NWR) between the Rajkiawas-Bomadra segment.
Eleven carriages were affected by the train derailing.
The event happened in the Jodhpur division between the Rajkiawas and Bomadra sections. When the tragedy happened, the train was traveling from Bandra Terminus to Jodhpur.
