Kishan Reddy Positioned As Telangana State President As BJP Top Leaders Feel ‘Rift In Party Members’ Can Affect Party’s Politics

According to a statement, D Purandeshwari also replaced Somu Veeraraju as the BJP’s Andhra Pradesh unit president.

G Kishan Reddy, Union Minister gets the position of State President of Telangana Bhartiya Janata Party. On the other hand, Eatala Rajender was given the post of chairman of Election Management Committee. Reddy took place of Bandi Sanjay. But as per sources, Sanjay is going to be the Union Minister of State with an independent portfolio. According to a statement, D Purandeshwari also replaced Somu Veeraraju as the BJP’s Andhra Pradesh unit president. The party also appointed Former Andhra Pradesh chief minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy as member of its National Executive committee.


BJP high command changes Telangana State President

There were discussions going on in the BJP high command regarding the shift that took place. The party was already in talks to give the position of State President of Telangana Bhartiya Janata Party to Kishan Reddy. And the current head of the state and Karimnagar MP Bandi Sanjay will be shifted as Minister of State in the Union Cabinet. A compromise has supposedly been reached between the ‘warring groups’ of the BJP.

Internal rift in party leaders

Reports state that party meetings were held in Delhi by BJP National President JP Nadda and Amit Shah. The meetings were held to discuss the situation of state politics with Kishan Reddy, Huzurabad MLA Eatala Rajender and Bandi Sanjay. BJP top leaders felt that the internal friction between the leaders is affecting the politics of the state.
