In a post on X, PM Modi highlighted Keralam’s vibrant traditions, natural beauty and rich cultural heritage, saying the state had always held a cherished place in India’s history.

PM Modi described the people as Keralam’s greatest strength and praised their achievements in healthcare, education, entrepreneurship, science and other fields. He further said their dedication and commitment to excellence had earned admiration beyond India’s borders.

The Prime Minister wished residents greater opportunities, prosperity and continued progress in the coming years.

Chief Minister VD Satheesan also extended Keralappiravi greetings, reflecting on the state’s seven-decade journey and its achievements across various sectors.

In his message, Satheesan said Keralam was entering a new era by drawing strength from its accomplishments and lessons learnt over the past 70 years. He emphasised the need for compassionate governance that combines development with care for the struggles and needs of every individual.
