Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) National President and Union Minister JP Nadda, accompanied by his family, participated in a holy dip at the Triveni Sangam on Saturday, marking a significant moment during the ongoing Maha Kumbh. Nadda’s visit included prayers for public welfare and the performance of sacred rituals.

Upon arriving in Prayagraj, JP Nadda was warmly welcomed by Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath at the Triveni complex in Mahakumbhnagar. The group, including BJP state president Bhupendra Singh Chaudhary, cabinet minister Swatantradev Singh, and other prominent leaders, made their way to the Sangam via a floating jetty from Arail Ghat.

A Sacred Experience At Triveni Sangam

Once at the Sangam, the leaders, including Nadda and Chief Minister Adityanath, offered a chunari to Ganga Maiya, a symbolic gesture of devotion and prayer for the welfare of the public. Nadda and his family were joined by BJP leaders in feeding Siberian birds at the sacred site, a moment of unity and reverence for nature.

Afterward, Nadda, along with the leaders, took a collective dip in the holy waters of the Sangam. Following this, he and his family participated in individual rituals, completing the sacred bath in line with tradition. As they bathed, devotees gathered at the Sangam greeted them with chants of “Jai Shri Ram” and “Ganga Maiyya Ki Jai,” showing their respect and admiration.

Rituals And Prayers For Public Welfare

Post-bath, the Nadda family, CM Yogi Adityanath, and other BJP leaders performed a special worship ceremony for Maa Ganga, praying for the welfare of the people of Uttar Pradesh and the nation. The sacred rituals continued as the leaders visited the Bade Hanuman Temple, where they offered prayers to the reclining Hanuman Ji.

To conclude the day’s religious activities, the group also visited and worshiped at the historic Akshayvat, another important spiritual site in the city, deepening their connection to the sacredness of Prayagraj.

JP Nadda’s visit to the Mahakumbh reinforced his and the BJP’s commitment to spiritual and public welfare, with the sacred rituals reflecting a blend of devotion and leadership. The events highlighted the ongoing unity and reverence at the Mahakumbh, with political leaders joining the faithful in this momentous occasion.
