BJP National President and Union Health Minister JP Nadda has arrived in Jodhpur, Rajasthan, to attend the All India Coordination Meeting of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), which begins on 5 September and will continue till the 7th.
The gathering brings together over 300 senior functionaries from 32 RSS-affiliated organisations, including the BJP, ABVP, VHP, and Bharatiya Kisan Sangh.
Among the prominent attendees are RSS Sarsanghchalak Mohan Bhagwat, Sarkaryavah Dattatreya Hosabale, all six co-Sarkaryavahs, and senior BJP leaders such as BL Santhosh and V Satish.
The meeting is expected to focus on national unity, internal security, social harmony, and joint organisational strategies.
The discussions will also pave the way for Sangh’s centenary celebrations and evaluate field reports submitted by affiliate bodies.
Sunil Ambekar, Akhil Bharatiya Prachar Pramukh, confirmed that the sessions will include reviews of recent developments, project updates, and collaborative plans.
Preparations have concluded at the Lalsagar campus, with enhanced security in place. Authorities have banned drone activity and increased police deployment across key locations in Jodhpur.
The presence of JP Nadda, Mohan Bhagwat, and former Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje in Jodhpur at the same time has sparked speculation about possible political realignments within the BJP’s state leadership.
Raje met Bhagwat privately for about 20 minutes on Wednesday, though the details remain undisclosed.
Party insiders suggest discussions may have revolved around future roles and internal restructuring.
Parallel to his visit, JP Nadda also hailed the recently announced GST reforms, calling them a ‘next-gen breakthrough’ for India’s healthcare sector.
The GST Council, chaired by Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, decided to reduce the four existing tax slabs to two, scrapping the 12% and 28% rates while retaining 5% and 18%.
Nadda highlighted that under the new structure:
“These historic reforms mark a giant step towards affordable healthcare for all. This is truly a GST for a Fit and Healthy Bharat,” Nadda wrote on X (formerly Twitter).
He further emphasised that the changes would ease living costs for families, improve preventive healthcare access, and empower small businesses by simplifying compliance and boosting the ease of doing business.
With both the RSS meet and the GST healthcare reform drawing national attention, Nadda’s presence in Jodhpur symbolises the convergence of political and policy efforts aimed at nation-building ahead of key electoral and organisational milestones.
The outcomes of the Jodhpur meet are expected to influence both strategic planning and grassroots coordination across the Sangh Parivar.
