Cockroach Janata Party (CJP) founder Abhijeet Dipke has announced that the second season of Jantar Mantar will begin soon, while alleging that BJP pressure prevented the party from holding a volunteers’ meeting in Delhi.
Dipke said Wednesday that several people had been asking on Instagram when Jantar Mantar Season 2 would begin and indicated that it would start shortly. He alleged that the party was unable to find a hall in Delhi for its volunteers’ meeting despite members travelling from different places to attend the event.
According to Dipke, the party had been searching for a venue, but hall owners were unwilling to rent their premises for the meeting, with some allegedly citing pressure from above. He further claimed that the party eventually found a hall and had a receipt for the booking.
According to his allegation, the hall owners received threats on Wednesday morning warning them against allowing the CJP meeting to take place there.
Dipke alleged that the BJP was behind the developments and claimed that the party’s actions reflected fear of the country’s youth. He further asserted that such alleged attempts would not intimidate the CJP or prevent it from continuing its activities.
Dipke made the allegations regarding pressure and threats. The available information does not independently verify the claims or include a response from the BJP.
Dipke reiterated that Jantar Mantar Season 2 would be launched soon amid continued interest from people on social media.
