Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday targeted the Congress and its leader Rahul Gandhi and said that because of the “‘Shehzada’ (referring to Rahul Gandhi) speaking the language of Maoists”, any industrialist would think at least 50 times before investing in Congress-ruled States.
Addressing an election rally in Jamshedpur of Jharkhand, Modi also accused the Congress of patronizing dynastic politics and considering the Lok Sabha seat as “ancestral property”.
“The language used by the ‘shehzade’ of the Congress will make any industrialist think 50 times before investing in states ruled by the party… ‘shehzade’ is speaking the language of Maoists and is adopting new ways of extorting money,” the Prime Minister said, apparently referring to Gandhi.
Modi asserted, “I dare the Chief Ministers of the states ruled by the Congress and ‘India’ coalition to answer whether they agree with the anti-industry language of their ‘Shehzada’ (referring to Rahul Gandhi).”
Taking a dig at Gandhi over his decision to contest from Rae Bareli Lok Sabha seat, he said that Congress’s ‘Shehzada’ have reached this constituency saying, “This is the seat of my mother, something, even an 8-year-old school going won’t say.”
Modi also accused the Congress of depriving people of basic facilities and said that during the previous rule of that party, the condition of 18,000 villages was like that of the 18th century.
