Union Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat said that the glorious history of India was not written in the way it is. Today history needs to be rewritten. This work should be done in collaboration with social organizations.
Shekhawat was addressing the program organized on the eve of Maharana Pratap Jayanti by Maharana Pratap Samaroh Samiti on Sirsi Road on Sunday. He said that some pages of history remained untouched. The more those pages are repeated again and again, the more inspiration you will get. History has been tampered with; a sick attempt has been made to write such a history that we cannot take inspiration from it.
History is a source of inspiration
The Union Minister said that history can be a point of reference for other people, from where people get information about incidents, but for us, it is a source of inspiration. After the departure of the British, there was a need for rewriting history, but the governments of those days did not do that, but today the time has come that society needs to fix these topics. Today the Sanatan culture of India is being attacked. The need of the hour is to expand it. Social organizations should take the responsibility of rewriting history. There will be no shortage of resources in this, the way India is becoming a developed country. India, Indianness, and Indians have started being respected. It is necessary that we rewrite history by incorporating the inspiring characters of our history so that we can bring the country back to the same level of respect.
Maharana Pratap’s life is inspirational
The Union Minister said that the life of Maharana Pratap gives many inspirations. Firstly, the interest of society is ahead of individual interests, and the interest of the nation is ahead of the interest of society. Even the biggest power of the world can be defeated if we take all the people of the society along with us. In the kind of circumstances that are there today, anti-India forces are engaged in defeating India culturally, economically, and socially in order to defeat India by being troubled by India’s resurgence. It is necessary that we take people together in this period and work with a dedicated spirit for the revival of Sanatan culture and to make India glorious again and to make it a world guru.
Those who stop from hoisting the saffron flag will have to be identified
In the programme, BJP State President CP Joshi, while quoting the memoirs of Pratap’s life, said that even the elephant Ram Prasad of Mewar did not accept the power of the Mughals. Even Chetak was never under him. Pratap was invincible. I am happy that the Central Government has issued postage stamps on Maharana Pratap, Jhala Manna, and the third Rao Jaimal along with four characters associated with their lives. He accused the state government of stopping him from hoisting the saffron flag. Joshi said that such people have to be kept in mind who are stopping from hoisting the flag of India’s Sanatan dharma.
A characterless person can become a leader, not a national servant
At the function, Bhagwan Singh Rolsahibsar, who was the fourth head of the Kshatriya Yuvak Sangh, said that Maharana Pratap was not only a high-class warrior but also rich in character. Today, a character is the biggest requirement in a person. A characterless person can become a leader, but cannot become a national servant. Can’t become a social worker. The one who has feces inside him cannot show the way to others. Can’t do folk collection and folk teaching. He said that today Indianness is disappearing. Should think about restoring it.
Premsingh Banwasa, convenor of Maharana Pratap Samaroh Samiti, Jaipur, said that Union Minister Shekhawat was felicitated by garlanding him with a 51-kg garland. Poet Vivek Pareek of Shekhawati recited his compositions. Convener Banwasa welcomed and expressed gratitude to the guests.
