India Moving Ahead With Accelerated Development Across Sectors, Says PM Modi

Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that India is experiencing rapid progress across various sectors, reflecting a shift towards faster and more effective development.

Speaking at an event in New Delhi, he noted that the number of airports in the country has crossed 160, showcasing the scale of infrastructure expansion and improved connectivity.

He remarked that while earlier efforts focused on planning, the present phase delivers visible implementation and measurable outcomes on the ground.

He added, “The pace of development has significantly increased, and the country has moved from slow execution to fast-track growth.”

The Prime Minister stated that policy goals are now being converted into real achievements, projecting a strong global image of a ‘New India’ committed to development.

He pointed out that even with ongoing global conflicts, India has maintained its growth momentum without major disruptions.

He also mentioned that the government has taken several key decisions within just 23 days, highlighting its swift action.

Progress Continues in Challenging Conditions

According to him, “Even in challenging situations such as war-like conditions globally, India has continued to progress without slowing down.”

He said the international community is increasingly acknowledging India’s resolve and consistent focus on development.

Earlier, while addressing the Lok Sabha on developments in West Asia, the Prime Minister spoke about steps taken to strengthen energy security.

He stated that India currently holds strategic petroleum reserves of over 53 lakh metric tonnes and is working to expand this capacity by an additional 65 lakh metric tonnes.

He further noted that the country has diversified its energy import sources significantly over the past decade, reducing dependence and enhancing supply stability.

Overall, his remarks highlight India’s transition towards faster development, stronger infrastructure, and greater resilience, strengthening its standing in the global economic landscape.
