He also highlighted the growing diplomatic relationship between India and Greece, noting the frequent Prime Ministerial visits exchanged between both nations.

Gerapetritis, in turn, expressed Greece’s enthusiasm for deepening bilateral ties, particularly in tourism, culture, and trade.

A Vision For Future Collaboration

“In the last couple of years, the bilateral relations between Greece and India have been upscaled tremendously… We would like to enhance our cooperation in all aspects, including tourism, culture, and trade. As members of the UNSC, we aim to amplify India’s voice within the United Nations and serve as reliable interlocutors in the EU-India relationship. This is a unique opportunity for us as we celebrate 75 years of diplomatic relations,” said Gerapetritis.

Gerapetritis is currently on an official visit to India, aiming to enhance diplomatic and strategic partnerships. His visit is expected to further bolster India-Greece relations, fostering cooperation across economic, strategic, and diplomatic spheres.
