Ahead of the Lok Sabha elections 2024, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday addressed a public rally in Barmer, Rajasthan.

Land Of Rajasthan Deprived Of Water: PM Modi

Hitting out at Congress, PM Modi said, “The Congress has ruled for more than six decades but has not been able to resolve even a single issue comprehensively. The land of Rajasthan has been deprived of water by the Congress party for decades.”

“During the tenure of the Congress government in Rajasthan, it indulged in rampant corruption even in the Jal Jeevan Mission. Congress also failed to complete the ERCP project to bring water to Rajasthan,” PM added.

Lashing out at Congress’s narrow mindset PM Modi stated, “Congress mindset is against the rural development of border villages. All the border areas were deprived of their development under Congress rule. Our priority has been the development of border villages and enabling the last-mile saturation of development benefits to all.”

Addressing a public rally, the Prime Minister asserted that the Congress manifesto reeks of the ideals of the Muslim league.

PM remarked, “It is the same Congress that committed a blunder stating that India should give up its nuclear arsenal, despite knowing the nuclear threat posed by India’s two neighbours.”

PM said that the INDI alliance only aims to weaken India’s territorial integrity and security.

Highlighting tribal welfare, PM Modi stated, “Congress ignored the Janjatiya community. Initiatives like Eklavya Residential Schools and Mission to eliminate Sickle Cell Anemia have pioneered tribal development in Rajasthan.”

PM further said that it was the BJP government who ensured that India has a President from the Tribal community.

“The BJP’s commitment is to empower the Janjatiya community in Rajasthan, including the Meghwal, Langha and Manganiar communities, among several others,” PM Modi added.

Meanwhile, Rajasthan has 25 Lok Sabha seats. The polling will be held in two phases on 19 April and 26 April.
