Income Tax Raids Yatharth Hospital In Noida Amid Allegations Of Multi-Crore Tax Evasion
In Noida, Uttar Pradesh, there is news of a raid on a well-known hospital by the Income Tax department. Yatharth Hospital, which is part of a major hospital group in the country, is being investigated for alleged tax evasion and crores of rupees in financial irregularities. After complaints of tax theft and unaccounted transactions, the Income Tax department officials initiated a raid on Thursday morning. This group operates three branches in Gautam Buddh Nagar, Noida, Greater Noida, and Bisrakh.

Apart from Noida and Greater Noida, simultaneous raids have been conducted at several other locations related to the Yatharth Group. It is expected that this raid might last for two to three days, and only after its completion, the extent of tax evasion and unaccounted transactions by the Yatharth Hospital group will become clear. The authorities are taking precautions to ensure that the ongoing raid does not disrupt the services for admitted patients or those visiting the outpatient department.
According to reports, the owner of the Yatharth Hospital, where the Income Tax department is conducting the raid, is a billionaire. Recently, a list of India’s billionaires was published in the media, and the names of 11 billionaires from Noida were disclosed. The names of the owners of Yatharth Hospital, Kapil Kumar Tyagi and Ajay Kumar Tyagi, were prominently featured on that list. Their total wealth is estimated to be over 2400 crores. The source of this immense wealth is under investigation by the Income Tax department.
