CBI’s big action on international cyber fraud, raids at 76 locations in 11 states

Today, the CBI has taken major action under Operation Chakra, conducted major raids at 76 locations in 11 states, and taken action against those involved in international cyber fraud. Delhi, Himachal Pradesh, West Bengal, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Karnataka, Haryana, and other states have made major arrests. During this period, along with the arrest of the accused who committed cyber crimes, CBI officials have also seized important documents from them.

Let us tell you that the Central Investigation Agency has registered five cases in this case. The special thing is that this action of CBI has been taken on the complaints of Amazon and Microsoft.

According to the CBI, 32 mobile phones, 48 laptops, images of two servers, 33 SIM cards, and pen drives were seized during the search.

According to the information received by CBI, along with freezing the e-bank accounts, the agency has also seized the details of 15 email accounts. In this, the conspiracy of the accused has also been revealed, through which they work to cheat people.

Let us inform you that among the targeted cases under Operation Chakra-II, two cases of international tech sports fraud scams have also come to light. The accused were operating nine call centers in five states or UTs and systematically preyed on foreign nationals by posing as technical sports representatives.
