IGI Airport
A major crackdown has been carried out against brokers at IGI Airport. The IGI Airport team has busted the racket of brokers. The IGI Airport team filed a total of 51 cases of brokering in August alone. During the operation, 73 individuals were arrested. It is worth mentioning that this action by the IGI Airport team is in preparation for the upcoming G-20 summit. A significant action has been taken based on the complaint of Amit Malik.
In his complaint, he stated that an Indian traveler named Jatinder Singh arrived at the immigration counter seeking entry to Serbia. During the document verification, it was discovered that he had a fake Serbian visit visa (number A0996388, valid until 27/09/2023) affixed to his passport, and there were no security features. Jatinder Singh had arranged for a payment of 800,000 rupees for the fake visa, which he transferred to an account. After the discovery of fake documents, Jatinder Singh was arrested and subjected to intensive questioning.
Revelations during the interrogation
During the interrogation, it was revealed that an agent named Sameer Baba had contacted him for a Serbian Schengen visa. Sameer Baba sent Sunil, brother of Jatinder Singh, a packed passport via courier. Another agent, Aaga Khan, arranged the fake visa. Sunil affixed the passport and handed it over to IGI Airport. The team identified agent Aaga Khan and arrested him in Okhla, New Delhi. Currently, the team is searching for Sameer Baba.
Subsequently, there has been a crackdown on the immigration racket. The IGI Airport team has successfully arrested two agents involved in immigration fraud. A complaint was registered against Jatinder Singh in PS based on Amit Kumar’s complaint. Amit Kumar Khichi, Deepak aka Divyansh, Dinger Majra, Kamal, and agent Mandip Singh have been arrested by the police.
