IAS Officer Sandeep Tiwari Attends Shri Ram Katha At Jyotirmath; Discusses Closure Of Meat & Alcohol Shops

In a significant cultural and administrative development, District Magistrate (DM) of Chamoli, Uttarakhand, IAS Sandeep Tiwari attended the ongoing nine-day Shri Ram Katha at the revered Narsingh Bhagwan Temple, Jyotirmath, Joshi Math, on its fifth day.

The Tattvamasi Martand Foundation and the Ramayan Samagam Narsingh Temple are jointly conducting the event.

The Shri Ram Katha is being led by Sant Shri Ramanand Das Ji Maharaj, Bhagwat Acharya of Shri Ayodhya Dham and Shri Ram Temple.

The event, taking place at the sacred site of Adi Guru Shankaracharya’s Jyotirmath, has attracted significant attention from both devotees and local authorities.

During his visit, DM Sandeep Tiwari engaged in discussions regarding the closure of meat and alcohol shops operating openly in and around the Jyotirmath area.

This initiative aligns with efforts to preserve the sanctity of the religious environment and uphold the spiritual values of the region.

The Bhakti TV Channel broadcasts the ongoing Ram Katha daily, allowing devotees to participate remotely.

Viewers can tune in from 6:30 AM to 7:00 AM and again from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM.

Additionally, the Katha is available for live streaming on the YouTube channel @shriramkunjayodhya from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM.

DM Tiwari’s presence and involvement underscore the administration’s commitment to both cultural preservation and public welfare, reflecting a blend of spiritual reverence and administrative responsibility.
