Horrifying Experience! Punjab MLA Shared Video While Travelling In IndiGo Flight Without AC

Due to a technical glitch, IndiGo has apologised to customers after they reported a very uncomfortable hour-long flight during the height of summer with the air conditioning turned off.

People were seen utilising the safety cards on the flight as hand fans, as seen in the images shared by passengers. The passengers were routinely given wet wipes by a perspiring flight attendant.

“We really regret the inconvenience our clients had to deal with on their most recent trip with us. The inconvenience on IndiGo flight 6E7261 from Chandigarh to Jaipur was regrettable, the airline stated in a statement. “We take our customers’ comfort and satisfaction seriously.

It said that after landing in Jaipur, the aircraft’s air conditioning equipment was examined. According to the statement from IndiGo, the aircraft was “released for subsequent flights after thorough inspections and corrections.”

The leader of Punjab Congress and MLA, Amarinder Singh Raja Warring, was also in the same flight. In a tweet, he referred to it as “the most horrifying experience”.

The flight took off without the ACs on after we entered the plane, much to our dismay, Mr. Warring wrote. “We were made to wait for about 10-15 minutes in the queue in the scorching sun,” he added.

All of the passengers were made to “suffer” throughout the flight since the air conditioning was turned off from takeoff till landing. Throughout the flight, nobody brought up the major issue. In reality, the flight hostess ‘generously’ gave tissue papers to the passengers to wipe away sweat, the MLA tweeted, along with a video captured inside the aircraft.

Mr. Warring called on the airports authority of India (AAI) and the DGCI, the aviation regulator, to take action against IndiGo.
