Damaging several vehicles damaged following the collapse of a massive hoarding at the Sahajanand Chowk in Kalyan town on Friday. Officials informed, however, there has not been any immediate report of any casualities.
The incident occurred around 10.30 a.m. in the busy square with strong winds blowing in the rain-lashed region.
Witnesses reported that a large hoarding that had been erected at one corner of the road was uprooted and crashed onto the road, causing a few automobiles and three to four two-wheelers that were parked there to fall. Among them was a scared man who had just parked his car and stepped out a few minutes prior.

There are no reports of any casualties from the accident, despite the fact that a sizable crowd had collected and caused a traffic bottleneck at the location. The Kalyan Fire Brigade and the police raced to the scene to conduct a relief operation.
Recall that on May 13, a huge pile, estimated to weigh 250 tons, collapsed on a gas station and many houses in the Ghatkopar district of Mumbai, inflicting injuries on over 80 individuals and claiming the lives of at least 17 people. The pile also crushed numerous large and small cars.
