The Pramukh Varni Amrut Mahotsav concluded on Sunday at the Sabarmati Riverfront in Ahmedabad with an extraordinary display of devotion, gratitude, and community spirit.
Thousands of devotees, volunteers, and dignitaries gathered to honour the life and legacy of Pramukh Swami Maharaj, celebrating his decades of spiritual leadership and humanitarian work.
The closing ceremony brought together faith and emotion as the community expressed deep reverence for his transformative influence.
Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel, and several other distinguished leaders joined the event.
Mahant Swami Maharaj and BAPS spiritual leaders led the tributes. They praised Pramukh Swami Maharaj for his selfless service, humility, compassion, and guidance that touched millions across caste, creed, and background.
Their words highlighted how his life became a symbol of unity, peace, and spiritual strength.

The celebration marked 75 years since Pramukh Swami Maharaj assumed leadership of the BAPS Swaminarayan Sanstha.
Organisers brought his journey to life through vivid artistic performances, multimedia presentations, and cultural segments that showcased his sacrifices and unwavering commitment to service.
Each segment reinforced how he shaped the organisation’s global humanitarian identity.
Nearly 7,000 volunteers worked for months across 20 service departments to ensure flawless execution. Their disciplined efforts reflected the values they celebrated.
On the final day alone, around 50,000 devotees travelled from Ahmedabad and other parts of Gujarat to participate.
Coordinated transport arrangements kept traffic smooth, while local authorities ensured tight security and efficient crowd management.
The scale and order of the event demonstrated meticulous planning and strong community participation.
Aarti and Fireworks Mark Emotional Finale
The evening reached its emotional and spiritual peak with a grand communal aarti by the riverside.
Devotees stood together as chants echoed across the Riverfront. The atmosphere pulsed with devotion as thousands raised lamps in unison.
Moments later, a spectacular fireworks display lit up the night sky above the Atal Bridge, offering a glowing finale to the multi-day celebration.
The Mahotsav aimed to inspire people to embrace values like humility, service, faith, and universal compassion.
Through its performances and tributes, the event showed how spirituality and social service can work together to strengthen communities and build harmony.
Organisers celebrated the idea that devotion must translate into action.
As the festival drew to a close, participants left with renewed resolve. They pledged to continue Pramukh Swami Maharaj’s legacy by practising service, empathy, and unity in daily life.
