Union Home Minister Amit Shah inaugurated the Bharatiya Janata Party’s (BJP) high-level three-day training camp on Saturday in the serene backdrop of Pachmarhi, Madhya Pradesh.
Over 200 party leaders, including MPs, MLAs, ministers, and senior office-bearers, joined the event, aimed at refining ideological clarity, communication, and grassroots outreach strategies.
In his keynote address, Home Minister Amit Shah emphasised the importance of discipline, ideological conviction, and a commitment to public service.
He encouraged BJP functionaries to remain rooted in the party’s foundational values while staying adaptable to the changing needs of voters.
Citing the BJP’s journey from the Jan Sangh days to its current stature as a national force, HM Amit Shah highlighted how consistent training has helped the party grow into a unified and responsive political organisation.
Home Minister Shah also stressed the need for effective public communication, urging leaders to engage with citizens empathetically and with clarity.
He underscored the relevance of digital outreach, constituency management, and timely delivery of governance.
Following Shah’s address, the camp began a series of workshops covering topics such as time management, public behaviour, and communication of policy achievements.
Participants follow a rigorous daily routine, starting with yoga and meditation at 6 am, followed by back-to-back sessions.
Organisers have banned mobile phones during sessions to maintain discipline and ensure full participation.
The camp, held at a hotel in Pachmarhi, serves as a key strategy session ahead of the 2029 general elections.
Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav, BJP state president Vishnu Dutt Sharma, senior leader Shivraj Singh Chouhan, and BJP National General Secretary (Organisation) BL Santosh also addressed the gathering.
Defence Minister Rajnath Singh will deliver the valedictory address on June 16.
Earlier in the day, BJP leaders led a tree plantation drive under the ‘Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam’ initiative.
State BJP president VD Sharma, accompanied by Union ministers Virendra Kumar Khatik, L Murugan, Durgadas Uikey, and Savitri Thakur, along with MLAs and MPs, planted saplings near the cemetery in the Cantonment area of Pachmarhi.
