Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday conveyed warm birthday wishes to Union Jal Shakti Minister CR Paatil. He commended the minister’s consistent efforts in strengthening water management and advancing the government’s flagship Har Ghar Jal initiative.

Expressing gratitude, Paatil thanked the Prime Minister for the warm message. He stated that Prime Minister Modi’s visionary leadership inspires him to work with renewed determination.
The minister emphasised his commitment to strengthening water resource management and advancing the Jal Jeevan Mission.
Paatil noted that the mission aligns with the broader vision of building a Viksit Bharat while ensuring safe drinking water reaches every household.

Born on March 16, 1955, in Pimpry Akaraut village of Jalgaon district in Maharashtra, Paatil later moved with his family to Gujarat. He joined the Bharatiya Janata Party in 1989 and steadily rose through the organisation’s ranks.
CR Paatil has served as the second Minister of Jal Shakti since 2024 and represents the 18th Lok Sabha.
