Early on Sunday morning, the Gujarati district of Bharuch was battered by heavy rains, resulting in flooded streets and roads. The residents of the area were primarily affected by the inconveniences of commuting, which included slick roads, low visibility, and hazardous driving conditions.
In the meantime, Sunday is expected to bring light rainfall to 11 districts in Gujarat, according to the Meteorological Centre in Ahmedabad.
Aravalli, Ahmedabad, Mahisagar, Dangs, Navsari, Valsad, Daman, Dadra & Nagar Haveli, Saurashtra, Junagadh, and Gir Somnath are among the 11 districts.

Large portions of Gujarat were battered by unseasonal rains last month due to a western disturbance.
Along with severe winds and hail, the showers severely damaged properties throughout the state and destroyed a large amount of crops.
In the meantime, moderate rainfall, thunderstorms, and lightning are expected for Sunday morning in seven districts of Tamil Nadu, according to the Chennai Meteorological Centre.

According to a release from the Chennai Met department, “Moderate rain with light thunderstorms and lightning are very likely over Chennai, Chengalpattu, Tiruvallur, Kancheepuram, Ranipet, Vellore, and Tenkasi districts of Tamil Nadu.”
Eleven more state districts are expected to see light rain, according to the regional weather department’s forecast.
