Heavy Rain & Thunderstorm Hit Delhi For Second Consecutive Day

On Thursday, thunderstorms and heavy rain pounded portions of Delhi, including Patel Nagar, Rajiv Chowk, Safdarjung, and Lodhi Road.

The weather bureau reported that rain also fell on President House, India Gate, the Delhi Cantonment, and Budha Jayanti Park.

According to the report, there would be thunderstorms with light to moderate rain in a few locations over New Delhi and South Delhi, and strong winds could harm plantations, horticulture, and standing crops.

The meteorological department cautioned that rain combined with strong gusts could cause partial damage to vulnerable structures.

As per India Meteorological Department (IMD) bulletin, the minimum temperature in the national capital on Thursday was 17.8 degrees Celsius.

The high temperature is forecast to be around 32 degrees Celsius.
