After his meeting with PM Modi, Sundar Pichai emphasized the Prime Minister’s push for designing and manufacturing in India. He expressed eagerness to partner with India, noting Nvidia’s collaboration with start-ups and IITs to seize AI’s transformative potential.

IBM India’s MD, Sandip Patel, also praised PM Modi’s vision for frontier technologies like AI, semiconductors, and quantum computing. Patel remarked that India’s current investment momentum and favorable policies are key to making the country a global AI hub. He stressed that upskilling India’s massive workforce in AI will be crucial to achieving this vision. Patel emphasized the need for responsible AI deployment, ensuring data ownership remains with its creators and AI systems remain free from bias.
