Mumbai-Goa Highway Accident
Mumbai – “Nine people were killed. The deceased included a girl child, three women, and five men,” the official said.
According to the reports, nine people got killed when the car collided with a truck on the Mumbai-Goa Highway. The accident took place in Mangaon on the highway around 5 am today. The car was on its way to Guhagar in Ratnagiri district while the truck was on its way to Mumbai. The car’s heavily mangled remains attest to the severity of the crash. There are five men and three women among the dead.
According to police, a child was injured in the accident and was taken to the hospital. The highway traffic movement has resumed and the incident is being investigated

This road accident was so gruesome that the car was blown away. As soon as the car and truck collided head-on, the car was completely flattened and damaged. Due to this, the people died on the spot. The incident took place on the Mumbai-Goa highway in the Raigad district at 4.45 am on Thursday. 9 people died after a speeding truck collided with a van and according to information, a girl was injured.
The 4-year-old girl admitted to the hospital
Officials informed that a four-year-old girl was also injured in the accident. The four-year-old girl was admitted to a hospital in Mangaon. He also said that the bodies have been sent to the government hospital for postmortem. Police told that it is not yet clear what caused the accident. As soon as the information about the accident was received, the police reached the spot and started the rescue work. Due to the accident, the traffic was disrupted for a while. Police removed the accident-hit vehicles from the road and traffic was restored immediately.
