During a recent visit to the Maha Kumbh, industrialist Gautam Adani described the event as a “Maha Yagya” (grand ritual) of Indian culture and religious faith. He emphasized the spiritual and cultural significance of the Kumbh Mela, which brings together millions of devotees every few years.
Adani expressed immense satisfaction about the support extended by Gita Press in making the event even more meaningful. In collaboration with the prestigious institution, the team has provided one crore copies of the “Aarti Sangrah” free of charge to the devotees attending the Kumbh.
“I am deeply inspired by my meeting with the respected officials of Gita Press, who have been serving the nation for 100 years through Sanatan literature,” Adani remarked. He also conveyed his gratitude for the institution’s excellent contribution in promoting religious texts and literature.
In his address, Adani spoke about the importance of selfless service and how it reflects a sense of responsibility towards religion and culture. He described such service as a form of patriotism that binds individuals in their collective commitment to the nation.
“Service is sadhana (spiritual practice), service is prayer, and service is God,” Adani stated, emphasizing the sacred role that service plays in personal and societal development.
His further remarks highlight the broader theme of cultural responsibility, underscoring the efforts of institutions like Gita Press, which have long been dedicated to spreading knowledge and promoting spirituality. As the Maha Kumbh continues to unfold, such acts of service and devotion remain central to the celebration of India’s rich cultural and religious heritage.
