G20 Chief Coordinator Harsh Vardhan Shringla Expresses Pride In G20 Chairmanship

The G20 Summit is about to commence in the national capital, Delhi, with the leaders of G20 countries already arriving in the city. Delhi has been adorned with colorful lights and various types of images (paintings) for the G20 Summit. Security arrangements have been made at various places. Chief Coordinator of G20, Harsh Vardhan Shringla, stated, “Last year, we took over the G20 chairmanship on December 1, and this year, the presidential term will end on November 30.” During his chairmanship, we had more than 220 meetings. We organized G20 meetings in every state and union territory of India, focusing on the Prime Minister’s All India G20 perspective. I think this is the best example of cooperative federalism that we can showcase.

Foreign Secretary Vinay Kothari addressed the press conference, saying that the G20 Summit, under India’s chairmanship, is commencing. I will express my thoughts. He further said that this summit will extensively discuss issues related to national and global southern interests.
