G20 Chief Coordinator Harsh Vardhan Shringla Expresses Pride In G20 Chairmanship

The G20 Summit is about to commence in the national capital, Delhi, with the leaders of G20 countries already arriving in the city. Delhi has been adorned with colorful lights and various types of images (paintings) for the G20 Summit. Security arrangements have been made at various places. Chief Coordinator of G20, Harsh Vardhan Shringla, stated, “Last year, we took over the G20 chairmanship on December 1, and this year, the presidential term will end on November 30.” During his chairmanship, we had more than 220 meetings. We organized G20 meetings in every state and union territory of India, focusing on the Prime Minister’s All India G20 perspective. I think this is the best example of cooperative federalism that we can showcase.

Foreign Secretary Vinay Kothari addressed the press conference, saying that the G20 Summit, under India’s chairmanship, is commencing. I will express my thoughts. He further said that this summit will extensively discuss issues related to national and global southern interests. He also said that the agenda of this summit is very clear and prominent – the agenda of this summit is one Earth, one family, and one future.

Completely divided into two sessions

The morning program to be held tomorrow will discuss issues related to the theme of One Earth. After that, the program scheduled for 2 p.m. will discuss issues related to One Family. Additionally, on September 10th, a program related to One Future will be discussed. He further said that apart from the above matters, members of the delegation will participate in the banquet hosted by the President of India. Additionally, they will pay their respects to Mahatma Gandhi at Rajghat. In addition, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will discuss these issues in the meeting under the chairmanship of India.
