Former Prime Minister H.D. Deve Gowda visited the Prime Ministers’ Museum in New Delhi on Saturday. The visit was a significant and emotional moment for him. Deve Gowda, who leads the JD(S), expressed deep satisfaction with the museum and the efforts behind it.
He was particularly moved by the displays and the way his own contributions were showcased. The museum highlights the achievements of all Indian Prime Ministers, including Deve Gowda. Seeing his legacy presented in such a detailed manner touched him deeply.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi also reacted to the visit. On the social media platform X, he shared his appreciation. Modi wrote, “It’s so heartening to see our former PM and respected statesman H.D. Deve Gowda Ji visiting PM Sangrahalaya, where he himself is prominently featured.”

Museum officials gave Gowda a warm welcome. They provided him with detailed information about the exhibits and the significance of the museum. Deve Gowda acknowledged the efforts of those involved in creating and maintaining the museum.
In his post on X, Deve Gowda reflected on the experience. He wrote, “I visited the PM’s Museum at PM Sangrahalaya in New Delhi today. It was an overwhelming and humbling experience. I congratulate PM Narendra Modi for conceiving this project, which recognises the contributions and diverse backgrounds of all our PMs.”
Gowda also extended his gratitude to Nripendra Misra, who played a key role in implementing the museum’s vision. He appreciated the warm reception and the detailed tour provided by A Surya Prakas.
The veteran politician shared his emotional response in the museum’s visitors’ book, noting the profound impact of the visit on him.
