Dhruv Research gives a slightly more favorable outlook for the BJP, projecting 22-32 seats for the party, while predicting the Congress could win 50-64 seats. Minor players like JJP and INLD are expected to receive no seats in this prediction, with Others getting 2-8 seats.
According to Peoples Pulse, the BJP could get 20-32 seats, while the Congress is likely to win 49-61 seats. Meanwhile, regional parties JJP and INLD might secure 0-1 and 2-3 seats, respectively.
Republic Bharat-Matrize poll has a slightly lower projection for the BJP at 18-24 seats but places Congress firmly between 55-62 seats. INLD and JJP might win 3-6 and 0-3 seats.

Key Candidates and Voter Participation
The elections saw key players from various parties, including Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini and BJP leaders Anil Vij and OP Dhankar. The Congress fielded prominent candidates such as Bhupinder Singh Hooda and Vinesh Phogat. INLD’s Abhay Singh Chautala and JJP’s Dushyant Chautala were also in contention. A total of 1,031 candidates participated in the elections, including 101 women and 464 independent nominees.
Voting took place across 90 constituencies from 7 am to 6 pm. The turnout included over 2 crore voters at 20,632 polling stations, among them 8,821 centenarians. The counting of votes is set for October 8, with the majority mark established at 46 seats.

As the BJP seeks a third consecutive term, it faces strong opposition from Congress, which aims to reclaim power after a decade in the political wilderness. Congress is banking on its recent success in the Lok Sabha elections and has outlined a manifesto promising seven key guarantees. Rahul Gandhi has spearheaded the Congress campaign, addressing pressing issues such as the Agniveer scheme, farmers’ protests, and the wrestlers’ agitation against the BJP. In 2014, the BJP won 47 seats and formed its first government in Haryana under Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar. The upcoming results will be crucial for shaping the future political landscape of Haryana and influencing governance strategies in the state.
