Ex-Principal, Bishop Johnson Girls Wing Katra, Parul Soloman while addressing mediapersons on Tuesday, again cited threat to her life from Bishop Morris Edgar Dan and Archie Timothy. It is worth mentioning that Archie Timothy, who also happens to be the PRO of Bishop Dan has allegedly asked Parul Soloman to withdraw all cases or else face dire consequences. On Wednesday, she expressed the possibility of her murder by Bishop and his aides. However, Parul admitted that she will not succumb to the pressure tactics and stands by the charges levelled by her.
She said that many skeletons will tumble out if the old cases against Archie Timothy’s father were reopened. She claimed, Archie Timothy is the main accused in murder, dacoity and rape of Dr. Swati Sarkar, way back on 5.5.1999.” She also presented old newspaper clippings to corroborate and vindicate her claims.
She also claimed that Archie Timothy alias Sonu’s father, who was earlier employed in the Lucknow Christian College as a lecturer was removed from the college on the alleged charges of outraging the modesty of a college maid servant. Sources revealed that Sonu and his younger brother Monu had allegedly outraged the modesty of their tribal maid servant. She was subsequently packed to her home town Bihar, with a whopping amount of money with a threat not to spill the beans if she wanted to remain alive.
Parul Soloman further claimed that they have threatened her with Dr. Swati Sarkar like consequences and reportedly said that they will ensure her family will stand on the verge of starvation.
It is worth mentioning that an inquiry into the event that occurred at Bishop Johnson Girls Wing in Katra has begun on the orders of senior police officers. An FIR on crime no. 0246 under sections 121, 324 (4), 333, 74, 76, 351 (2), and 309 (4) of BNS 2023 has been filed against two school principals, including Bishop Morris Dan, his son Allan Dan, Dr. Vinita Eusebius, Sanjeet Lal, Vishal Noble Singh, RK Singh, Arun Moses, Tanu Vyas, Abhishek Vyas, and several unidentified individuals. Later, she also filed another FIR against the accused. However, in response to media inquiries on Wednesday, ousted principal Parul Solomon voiced fear for her life from a competing group and asked security from authorities.

It may be recalled that ten people have been booked on the complaint of evicted Principal of Bishop Johnson Girls Wing Katra Prayagraj, Parul Solomon. In her complaint, she said many cases are pending in the Civil Court and the High Court, Allahabad regarding the management of the school and the High Court has dismissed the civil suit.
“In Writ Petition No. 38374 of 2023 (The Diocesan Education Board and others vs Uttar Pradesh Government and three others) vide its order dated 19-04-2014, a stay order was passed that no policy decision will be taken in relation to the functioning of school. On 07-05-2024, the stay order again being extended by the High Court till 29-07-2024. On 02-07-2024, when the school opened at 07:30 on the Tuesday morning, I reached the school and was sitting in my room when suddenly there was noise at the gate. I looked at from the CCTV camera and saw that Allan Dan and Morris Dan had entered the premises with several others. The applicant got scared and closed the door of her chamber from inside and got the peon locked from outside also so that the life of the applicant could be saved, but all the said people, with the intention of killing the applicant, locked the applicant’s chamber. They broke the door with a hammer, the video of which was made by the applicant and the said people entered the applicant’s room and started forcing themselves on the applicant,” she claimed in her complaint.
For a long time, there has been a dispute in Prayagraj about the Bishop and other positions in the Diocese of Lucknow (Church of North India). Morris Edgar Dan took over from Bishop Peter Baldev a few months ago. However, the matter has reached the Allahabad High Court. Even after this, the debate over who should govern and administer the convent schools, colleges, and organizations linked with the Diocese of Lucknow grows more intense with each passing day. A video documenting the capture of the school has also surfaced. Bishop Morris Edgar Dan and his men violently invaded the school and took control.
However, she lamented that till date no action has been taken against the culprits by police. “I am having full faith in UP CM Yogi Adityanath,” she said and urged that justice should be meted out to her.
