Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday hailed the recently concluded AI Impact Summit 2026 at Bharat Mandapam, stating that the event demonstrated India’s remarkable capabilities in Artificial Intelligence to the global community.
In a post on X, PM Modi said that at the historic AI Summit in Delhi, the entire world wholeheartedly praised India’s capabilities, adding that the technological thinking of the country’s youth would greatly benefit humanity.

He also shared a Sanskrit quote emphasising that experimentation and research are essential to discovering unknown knowledge, and that judgment and analysis of known facts mark the beginning of research, with knowledge verified through experience and observation.
India hosted the AI Impact Summit 2026 at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi from February 16 to 20. The summit focused on human-centric AI, global cooperation, and ethical frameworks, including the New Delhi Declaration.
The event brought together global leaders, policymakers, technology experts, innovators, and startup founders to deliberate on the future of Artificial Intelligence and its responsible deployment.
Earlier, during the 131st episode of his monthly radio programme Mann Ki Baat, Modi described the summit as a strong platform to showcase the country’s achievements. He noted that leaders, industrialists, innovators and members of the startup ecosystem participated in large numbers.
Showcasing Innovation To The World
PM Modi said the summit marked a turning point in how the world would harness the power of AI in the future. He added that he had the opportunity to meet global political and technology leaders and showcased several innovations at the summit exhibition.
The Prime Minister underscored that India’s expanding innovation ecosystem and youth-driven technological vision are positioning the country as a key player in shaping global AI discourse, while stressing the importance of research, experimentation and ethical responsibility in leveraging emerging technologies for the benefit of humanity.
