Two hours after the state’s assembly election counting started, at 10 a.m., the incumbent Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) led the early trends.
Trends during the first round of counting in the Madhya Pradesh assembly’s 200 out of 230 seats indicated that the BJP was leading in more than 100 seats, surpassing the Congress, which was ahead in roughly 90.
As of 10 a.m., only 4% of the state’s votes had been counted, and the trends are probably going to change throughout the day. Officials from the election commission stated that the state will have between 16 and 24 rounds of counting.
Leading from their respective constituencies were BJP leaders Prahlad Patel and Narottam Mishra, Congress state president Kamal Nath, and Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan.
“Bhartiya Janata Party is going to form the government again with full majority,” stated Chouhan in a post on X, the former Twitter platform.
“I have complete faith in the people of Madhya Pradesh that they will protect their future,” Nath remarked in the interim.

On November 17, the state held a single round of voting

The BJP discussed Chouhan’s image and its welfare outreach while fielding a plethora of senior ministers and parliamentarians. The Congress concentrated on accusations of corruption and anti-incumbency against Chouhan
