On the occasion of National Teachers’ Day, the Dr Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan Memorial National Awards 2025 were hosted at the Constitution Club of India, New Delhi.

The prestigious event was jointly organised by the Institute of Social Reforms and Higher Education Charitable Trust and IARDO, aiming to honour educators who have made significant contributions in the field of education and the arts.

The award function brought together teachers from across the country.

Delhi Assembly Deputy Speaker Mohan Singh Bisht and former Railway PSC Committee Chairman Ramesh Chandra Ratna graced the occasion as chief guests. Prominent personalities, including Parvinder Kumar and Sudhir Gupta, were also present to support and encourage the awardees.

In their addresses, the dignitaries highlighted the invaluable role of teachers in shaping society and emphasised that education remains the foundation of national progress.

Cultural and Spiritual Start

The program began on a spiritual note with Saraswati Vandana and the lighting of the ceremonial lamp. Organisers paid floral tributes and welcomed the chief guests with shawls, bouquets, and Lord Ganesha idols.

The cultural segment of the evening added depth and vibrancy to the occasion.

Sadyant Kaushal’s rendition of Krishna bhajans and Saraswati Vandana captivated the audience, creating an atmosphere of devotion and reverence.

The organisers also honoured artists Sadyant Kaushal and Urja for their artistic contributions.
