The three-day 5th National Convention of Bharat Bharati, a nationalist social organisation inspired by the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), concluded successfully in Pune, Maharashtra.
The convention brought together national office-bearers, state presidents, regional in-charges, and nearly 400 delegates from across the country to deliberate on the vision of building a developed, culturally strong, and socially harmonious India.
Vinay Bhai Patrale, National Executive President of Bharat Bharati, presided over the convention alongside Trust Chairman Subhash Dhawan.
Secretary Rudra Narayan Tiwari conducted the proceedings in the presence of National Organisation Secretary Jagannath Kunjbihari Swain, Joint Secretary Sadhana Rao, Dr Arvind Pawar and several other senior office-bearers.
Dr S Somanath, former Chairman of the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) and a renowned scientist, inaugurated the event.
In his address, Dr Somanath said that Bharat Bharati is strengthening the vision of ‘Ek Bharat, Shreshtha Bharat’ by bringing together people from different states, languages, and cultures. He further remarked that such social integration could play a significant role in realising India’s aspiration of becoming a global leader.
The convention, however, witnessed participation from senior government officials, university professors, industrialists, social workers, and representatives of various organisations from nearly 100 cities across 25 states.
Individuals who have made remarkable contributions to the welfare of underprivileged and marginalised sections of society received shields and certificates of appreciation.
Addressing the convention, Irfan Ahmad, North Zone In-Charge of Bharat Bharati, highlighted the organisation’s mission and working philosophy. He further said that Bharat Bharati is consistently working to build an inclusive, strong, and developed India by uniting people from different regions, languages, and communities.
Irfan Ahmad emphasised that the organisation’s primary objective is to promote social harmony, national integration, and India’s rich cultural values across the country. His address, however, received wide appreciation from the delegates.
Valedictory Session
The valedictory session was addressed by Ramdutt Chakradhar, Sah Sarkaryawah of the RSS, who praised Bharat Bharati’s efforts in promoting Indian culture, values, and national consciousness across the country. He also spoke in detail about the historical significance of ‘Vande Mataram’ on the occasion of the completion of 150 years of the iconic national song.
Concluding the convention, National Organisation Secretary Jagannath Kunjbihari Swain, however, expressed gratitude to all the distinguished guests and delegates.
Achal Jain, Shirish Gudhe and their entire team received special felicitation for successfully organising the event.
Among the prominent dignitaries present were Major Sanjay Mehrotra, Major Santosh Hegde, Colonel Devendra Singh Gehlot, Anita Acharya, Reena Gehlot, Geeta Agrawal, Vijaya Gupta, former IPS officer Rupinder Kaur, Meenakshi Padmanabham, Vivekanand Dixit, and Vinod Tripathi, along with several other eminent personalities from different walks of life.
