Police reported that a 35-year-old gym owner, Nadir Ahmed Shah, was shot dead on Thursday night in Delhi’s Greater Kailash-I.
The shooting occurred around 10:45 p.m. Police Control Room (PCR) teams, local police, the crime team, and the Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) team, along with Deputy Commissioner of Police (South) Ankit Chauhan, rushed to the scene.
Shah, co-owner of a gym, suffer five bullet wounds and rushed to Max Hospital, where doctors declared him dead on arrival. The motive behind the shooting remains unclear.

Witnesses further reported that two assailants on a scooter opened fire on Shah as he was returning home after closing the gym. The attackers fired more than a dozen rounds at Shah.
Rajendra Sharda, President of the Resident Welfare Association, revealed that Shah, of Afghan origin, had opened the gym six months ago and lived in CR Park.
However, the police have formed five teams to investigate the murder and are currently reviewing CCTV footage from the area. DCP Ankit Chauhan stated that technical surveillance and CCTV footage would aid in resolving the case promptly.
Sources further suggest that Shah was a police informer with connections to senior Delhi Police officials. Unverified social media posts indicate that Rohit Godara, a close associate of Goldy Brar from the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, claimed responsibility for the shooting. Godara alleged that Shah’s interference in their business deals prompted the killing, warning that anyone else who obstructs their operations would meet the same fate.
