The India Meteorological Department (IMD) announced that the minimum temperature in Delhi on Saturday was 22.7 degrees Celsius, four degrees below the season’s normal.
The weather office predicted a partly overcast sky during the day. The maximum temperature is expected to be approximately 37 degrees Celsius.
At 8:30 am, the relative humidity was 67 percent.
According to the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB), Delhi’s Air Quality Index (AQI) was 115 at 9 am, putting it in the moderate category.
An AQI between zero and 50 is deemed ‘good’, 51 and 100 ‘satisfactory’, 101 and 200 ‘moderate’, 201 and 300 ‘poor’, 301 and 400 ‘very poor’, and 401 and 500 ‘severe’.
