Dr Rajeshwar Singh To Speak On Political Role In Environmental Crisis At Lucknow Seminar

Although people frequently discuss environmental protection, real progress happens only when leaders back sound policies with decisive political will.

In the face of worsening climate change, deforestation, pollution, and water scarcity, leaders must move beyond rhetoric and demonstrate clear, result-oriented action.

To drive this conversation forward, Lok Adhikar Manch is hosting a significant environmental seminar today, Saturday, 5 July, at 4 PM at National PG College, Lucknow (Rana Pratap Marg).

The event, organised by Lok Adhikar Manch, seeks to inspire collaborative and politically grounded responses to pressing ecological challenges.

The seminar is set to host a wide range of participants, including students, environmental activists, policy experts, and socially conscious citizens.

Moreover, it serves as a much-needed forum for bridging the gap between scientific knowledge, civic engagement, and political responsibility.

The event aims not only to analyse environmental issues but also to identify realistic, long-term strategies for implementation at the policy level.

Leadership matters: Dr Rajeshwar Singh’s keynote address

Dr Rajeshwar Singh, MLA from Sarojininagar, will serve as the chief guest and keynote speaker.

Known for his straightforward approach to public issues, Dr Singh will further delve into the role of political leadership in environmental protection, emphasising the need for accountability and action at every level of governance.

He will highlight how informed and determined political leadership drives environmental reform and ensures effective policy execution.

This seminar serves as a launchpad for sustainable policy discussions and civic collaboration, going beyond a formal academic gathering.

With the active involvement of local representatives and community members, it represents a vital step toward making environmental action a political priority.

Call for media support

Lok Adhikar Manch has extended an open invitation to all major media houses to attend and cover the event.

Their involvement will help amplify the message and encourage broader public participation in environmental matters.
