Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal expressed concern over the communal violence in neighbouring Haryana, describing it as deeply troubling. He made a heartfelt appeal to the people of Haryana to uphold peace and brotherhood during this critical period. Kejriwal stressed the importance of unity in defeating forces that promote violence and disrupt harmony in society.
The violence has already claimed five lives, with four fatalities, including two home guards, occurring in Nuh, where mobs attempted to halt a Vishva Hindu Parishad procession. Additionally, a naib imam was killed at a mosque in Gurugram. In response to the situation, authorities have imposed a curfew in Nuh.

Speaking of the incident, the clashes erupted on Monday in the Nuh district of Haryana during a Vishva Hindu Parishad (VHP) rally. The unrest occurred among people consequent to Monu Manesar, a self-proclaimed cow protector appearing and provoking anger among the members of the community. Among the people that lost their lives as a result of the clashes were two home guards, Neeraj and Gursev, and an Imam.
