Defamation Case Related To Rahul Gandhi To Be Heard In Jharkhand High Court, Controversial Statement Given On Amit Shah

The Jharkhand High Court has received documents from the lower court about a defamation case involving Congress leader Rahul Gandhi. Following the arrival of the Lower Court Records (LCR), the case will be subject to an in-depth hearing.

The controversy arose when Rahul Gandhi made a statement regarding Amit Shah, implying that only a murderer could become the President of the BJP. Subsequently, a complaint was lodged, citing defamation.

Senior advocate Dheeraj Kumar, representing the case at the Jharkhand High Court, highlighted the significance of the impending hearing, indicating that public attention is focused on the matter. Today, the defamation case against Rahul Gandhi is scheduled to be heard before Judge Ambuj Nath, who had previously instructed the submission of the lower court’s decision records.

Advocates Dipankar Rai and Shreya Mishra will represent Rahul Gandhi, while senior High Court advocate Ajit Kumar, along with advocates Vinod Kumar Sahu and Kumar Harsh, will present their arguments on behalf of the petitioner, BJP leader Naveen Jha.
