All this has been possible under the leadership of flamboyant Police Commissioner Lakshmi Singh. With this, Noida Police Commissionerate has become number one in Uttar Pradesh in terms of reducing crime.
Lakshmi Singh: Without teamwork it is not possible to progress
CP Laxmi Singh shared many insights into policing in an interview given to a news channel. In the same interview she said, “Teamwork is very important to maintain law and order in any district. Without teamwork, it is not possible to progress. Along with this, CP Lakshmi Singh said that by focusing on basic policing of crime and criminal, you can achieve huge results, it is not rocket science, it is simple policing.”
People from all over nation come to Noida
She explained, “People not only from the entire state but from all over the country come and work here in Noida. Entrepreneurs come and run their own factories. There are corporates and big MNCs. Therefore, the policing here cannot be measured only on the scale of Uttar Pradesh. The security and policing here will be according to national and international standards of policing and safety protocols.”

Noida: the identity of UP Police
“Therefore, from the day I got the responsibility of Noida Commissionerate, the first thing I did was to develop Noida Police as a team and make them realize that not only UP is watching them and their policing, but the whole world is watching. How the identity of UP Police will be created in the world is also decided by a city like Noida, hence the responsibility of creating this identity is on Noida Police,” said Police Commissioner Lakshmi Singh
