Controversy Erupts As 85% Of Students From Gujarat NEET-UG Centre Passes With Flying Colors

The Supreme Court had directed the NTA to release the NEET UG results by July 20, following the exam conducted on May 5.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced the city-wise and centre-wise results for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test-Undergraduate (NEET-UG) 2024 on its official website today.

The data reveals surprising statistics, particularly from the Rajkot center, Unit School of Engineering, which reported the highest number of qualifying students—22,701. Impressively, around 85% of these students passed the exam.

Here’s a detailed breakdown of their scores:

– More than 700: 12 students
– More than 650: 115 students
– More than 600: 259 students
– More than 550: 403 students

In contrast, the Vidya Bharati Sikar Centre (Centre No 392349) recorded the following results:

– More than 700: 8 students
– More than 650: 69 students
– More than 600: 155 students
– More than 500: 241 students

Additionally, 83 students from the Sikar test centre and 45 students from the Model School in Rohtak, Haryana, scored over 600.

The Supreme Court had directed the NTA to release the NEET UG results by July 20, following the exam conducted on May 5. This year’s NEET UG saw participation from over 23.33 lakh students across 4,750 centres in 571 cities, including 14 international locations.
