Congress Rajya Sabha MP Pramod Tiwari has strongly condemned the BJP and its allies for their inflammatory remarks targeting Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi, saying they are fostering an environment of hatred and violence in the country.
Tiwari highlighted several disturbing incidents, including a Cabinet Minister’s threat to kill Gandhi, a Shiv Sena MLA’s offer of Rs 11,00,000 to cut off his tongue, and BJP leader Marwah’s threat to kill him like his grandmother.
Tiwari emphasized that if Gandhi’s security is compromised, the Indian government, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, and Home Minister Amit Shah will be held accountable. He stressed that the Congress party will not be intimidated by terrorism and will continue to speak out against it.

The Congress has filed an FIR and provided details of threats from BJP leaders and allies, calling for harm and assassination of Gandhi, at New Delhi’s Tughlak Road police station. Tiwari asserted that it is now the government’s responsibility to take action.
In a related development, BJP Rajya Sabha MP Anil Bonde sparked outrage by suggesting that Gandhi’s tongue should be burned for allegedly insulting the country during his recent US tour. This follows Shiv Sena MLA Sanjay Gaikwad’s announcement of a reward for cutting off Gandhi’s tongue.
Tiwari criticized Prime Minister Modi and Home Minister Shah for their silence on the matter, saying they are not speaking out against the hatred and violence being promoted by their party and allies.
